A simple, free way to get your whole school active this summer

Inspired by the Birmingham 2026 European Athletics Championships, this free challenge helps primary schools get more children active, bring pupils together around a shared goal, and make movement feel like something everyone can be part of.

Why it matters to schools

Every school wants children to be more active, but anything new has to work in the real world of busy staff, mixed confidence levels, and packed school days.

This challenge is designed to keep things simple. It gives schools an easy way to build more movement into the day, involve all pupils, and create a shared sense of energy across the school without adding unnecessary pressure.

What is the challenge
